Rustic Revival was born in a workshop on a small farm, on Victoria's Mornington Peninsula.

Taking inspiration from the natural world, Caz, founder and passionate upcycler, rescue's forgotten pieces of Vintage furniture, breathing new life into them. Using a variety of different and thoughtful processes, she restores beautiful timber, paints when appropriate, uses decoupage and other methods to create texture and patina. The process is a labour of love which requires time and a whole lot of patience. The finished pieces find their way to The Vintage Shed collective in Tyabb. An interesting emporium where like-minded makers, finders and creatives share a beautiful space under one roof.

Rustic Revival has been around long enough to know exactly who she is, but even a well-loved brand deserves a little TLC... so she has been lovingly refreshed and given a new coat of paint. Just like the pieces Caz brings back to life in her workshop, we think the best things are always worth looking after.

Whether you've scanned a sticker on a piece of furniture at Tyabb, stumbled across us on Instagram, or you're a long-time lover of everything Rustic Revival, welcome. Have a look around, and if something catches your eye, you know where to find us.

Have a piece that deserves a second life?

Caz has an extraordinary eye. Every piece that finds its way into The Vintage Shed has been hand-selected... fossicked, assessed and chosen for the integrity of its timber, the quality of its grain, and the bones that tell her it's worth saving. Not everything makes the cut and that's exactly what makes every Rustic Revival piece special.

But Caz's talent doesn't stop at her own collection. If you have a piece close to your heart, be it a family heirloom or a tired find with hidden potential, the good news is she also takes on custom restoration and transformation jobs. Bring it to Caz and watch the magic happen.

Testimonial

"Caz revived an old writing desk which was my Nan’s and had been in the family for many years. I told her to do what she does best and she did not disappoint. It's absolutely beautiful and now has a new purpose in our home as a mini bar.

This is the sixth piece I have in my house now from Caz and I love each and every one of them. She's an absolute furniture reinventing genius."
