Pali Baskets are individually handwoven in remote villages in Myanmar from recycled, reused and new materials. By dealing directly with the various villages, this supports the local communities. The Pali weavers work from their own homes, which enables them to care for their families. They are paid a fair price for their work, which is determined by the weavers and the head of the village. The income is distributed throughout the community and is used for various expenses, such as school supplies, general living and infrastructure.
Baskets are designed for longevity, they are durable, waterproof, strong and easy to clean. They are created from colourful pallet strapping. Each market basket is fully recyclable at the end of their use.
